Error -125090 While Installing LabVIEW

Issue Details

I am running the installer for LabVIEW 2018 x64 on Windows 10, but during the install process an error dialog box reporting the error code -125090 is shown: how can I proceed to install the software?

Solution

  • Your Windows account may not have all the permissions required to complete the installation: try running again the installer selecting the "Run as administrator" option.
  • Your NI account may not be associated with the serial numbers for the particular software you're trying to install. In order to resolve this please follow these steps;
    1. Sign into your NI account on the National Instruments website .
    2. Select My Account.
    3. Select My Products.
    4. Then ensure that the serial numbers for the products you have are associated with your account.
    5. If not then enter the serial numbers into the Register a Product box to register the software.
    6. Attempt installation again.
