Issue Details

I want to add PXIe-4302 as a simulated device in NI MAX but I do not see it in the NI-DAQmx Simulated Devices list. How can I simulate a PXIe-4302?

Solution

You need to have NI-DAQmx 15.1 or higher installed in the system to be able to simulate PXIe-4302 in NI MAX.

Additional Information

A simulated NI-DAQmx device is a replica of a device created using the NI-DAQmx Simulated Device option in the Create New menu of MAX for the purpose of operating a function or program without hardware. An NI-DAQmx simulated device behaves similarly to a real device. Its driver is loaded, and programs using it are fully verified. Hence, to add a card as a simulated device in NI MAX the required driver must be installed in the system. The first version of NI-DAQmx driver which supports PXIe-4302 is DAQmx 15.1.
