Issue Details

I get the following message when I load my LabVIEW DLL in TestStand and select a function:

This function does not have parameter information in the DLL or uses types not recognized by TestStand.

Solution

This error is expected because TestStand uses information from the type library of a DLL to display function prototypes and parameter information. If the type library is not present, the information cannot be displayed by TestStand.

To resolve this error, create a custom data type and add the paramenters of the DLL function manually.
Test the example located at <TestStand Public>\Examples\Fundamentals\Passing Clusters to Code Modules\Passing Clusters to Code Modules.seq and follow the instructions in Passing Clusters to Code Modules - LabVIEW .
