I want to change the color of the LabVIEW window border (where it says "Untitled 1 Front Panel" or "Untitled 1 Block Diagram") to match the colors in my program (personal preference). How can I do this?

This parameter is controlled by the operating system that's installed on the computer. It's not able to be easily manipulated in LabVIEW, but can be changed in the operating system properties.

In Windows 10, the easiest way to change this is to:

  • Right click on the desktop
  • Select Personalize
  • On the left side, navigate to Colors
  • Choose a color
  • Scroll down to Show accent color on the following surfaces
  • check Title bars

Now, the active window of your LabVIEW application will be the color that you've selected.

Additional Information

These preferences can be changed in most other operating systems as well. For Windows 7, see the link below in the "Related Links" section.
