Why does LabWindows™/CVI Say I am Missing dataacq.h?

Issue Details

I am trying to run an application in LabWindows/CVI, but when I hit the run button, a popup says that:

CVI is Unable to Find The File "dataacq.h"

How do I find this file?

Solution

The file "dataacq.h" is not installed by CVI, but is installed by the Traditional NI-DAQ driver. To fix this problem, run the NI-DAQ setup again and select the LabWindows/CVI Support. Please refer to the screenshot of the NI-DAQ setup below.
