Can I Use The LabVIEW Cloud Toolkit For Azure With A Real-Time Target?

Issue Details

I am using the Azure cloud to store system data collected from my real-time targets. I see that there is a LabVIEW Cloud Toolkit already made to work with Azure, will this work on my real-time device running LabVIEW? I need to send data from this device to the cloud directly.

Solution

National Instruments' real time devices are capable of transferring data over networks to services like the Azure Cloud. This transfer will occur from a non-deterministic loop within the real time environment and will therefore be non-deterministic itself. The use of LabVIEW Cloud Toolkit for Azure by NI, is offered as a way to simplify communication with Microsoft Azure services.

Additional Information

Standard HTTP communication is possible for devices using LabVIEW Real Time and does not require the LabVIEW Cloud Toolkit for Azure by NI to be installed to execute.
