Issue Details

I am moving from an older version of Teststand to the most recent version of Teststand, and I would like to know if error handling has changed.

Solution

You can migrate result processing options from TestStand 2010 SP1 or earlier for use with the process models in the current version of TestStand. However, National Instruments does not recommend using the equivalent legacy TestStand 2010 process models unless you encounter an incompatibility in an existing test system when you use the current TestStand process models or other circumstances prevent you from using the current TestStand process models. You can find more information here: Manually Migrating Result Processing Options from Any Version of TestStand

Additional Information

There have been significant changes between TestStand versions. The most important one happening in 2012, which modified significant aspects of the process model: Process Model Changes in TestStand 2012 or Later and the Migration Utility

Please also refer to the Migrating to the Current Version of TestStand for more information when moving your application.
