Issue Details

I just installed a new version of LabVIEW, and when I try to run VIs on my cRIO, I get an error message that says:

NI CompactRIO Driver support for LabVIEW 20xx is missing and is referenced by the following VIs

The error message is shown in the following dialog box:

 How can I fix this?

This error may be related to not having the correct software installed on your PC. Therefore, to solve the issue, verify that the following software is present on your system: If you already have all of this software, the issue might be that the hardware you are using on your project is no longer compatible with the software version you have. You can visit the Software Support for CompactRIO, CompactDAQ, Single-Board RIO, R Series, and EtherCAT documentation to verify compatibility between software and hardware.
In case the issue persists,  this could mean that the device drivers were not correctly linked to your new version of LabVIEW. To ensure that everything is linked correctly, uninstall and reinstall the NI CompactRIO Device Drivers.
