Can't Export PXIe-408X Configuration from NI-MAX

Issue Details

I am using a DMM PXIe-4081 or PXIe-4082 and I need to export the NI-MAX configuration from my development machine and import it in multiple floor machines. When I try to export the configuration, the PXIe-408X device is not listed in the list of hardware to be added to the export file. 

Solution

Exporting the NI-MAX configuration is not supported by the PXIe-408X family. The system API has not been implemented to export or import data from NI-MAX for these devices.

As a workaround to bring an alias into an NI MAX configuration, it is possible to use the "Rename Aliases" example found in LabVIEW Help by adding the "nidmm408x" expert:
