Issue Details

When I try to compile my FPGA project on LabVIEW, I get the following error message.

Due to bad installation or configuration, the compile worker does not have any compile capability. Please fix any issues and restart.

Solution

By default, the compile worker expects the Vivado Compilation tools to be installed to C:\NIFPGA. If you moved the files to another place, you will need to edit the path in WorkerRootDirectory.txt in C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\FPGA\CompilerWorker.

Also, it can happen, that the installer is not able to place all files in the directory. To check on this, compare the size of the NIFPGA folder and the number of files on your computer with another computer, on which the local compilation works.
