You can do this using the
Descriptive Statistics function.
- Launch the Descriptive Statistics dialog in Analysis >> Statistics.
- Select one or more channels you want to calculate the average value from.
- Enable the Arithmetic mean checkbox. If you only want to calculate the values without storing them as channels, skip to step 6.
- Select the Result Storage tab.
- Enabling the Store results in channels option.
- Click Calculate.
Additional Information
If you select several channels to calculate the characteristic values from and you enable storing the results in channels, you will get a channel with multiple values, one for each selected channel.
