I have a NI cDAQ system that needs to be properly calibrated. Is the chassis a component that also requires calibration?

Solution

While the chassis does not control the data acquisition, signal conditioning, and output control, it will provide timing for the individual modules. Depending on your calibration and timing requirements, it may be necessary to calibrate the timing chips on your cDAQ chassis.
