Issue Details

I am designing a system that will use a cDAQ controller running Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7). I would like to know if the hardware, as well as the Operating System can support a USB printer.

Solution

The limiting factor to determine if your printer will work with your controller is the printer's driver compatibility with Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7).
  • Please refer to your printer's specification sheet to view the list of compatible Operating Systems and make sure WES7 is on the list.

The USB host ports on a cDAQ controller can accommodate common USB devices. Thus, the hardware will not be a limiting factor.
