Deploy RT Calibrate Touchscreen VI to CompactRIO

Issue Details

I would like to calibrate the touch screen of TSM-1015. According to these instructions, I want to perform the calibration with LabVIEW environment. I am using LabVIEW 2015 (or later) and have a corresponding version of the LabVIEW Real-Time Module installed on my development computer. When I try to deploy RT Calibrate Touchscreen VI to my cRIO, I'm seeing the following error:

SubVI 'RT Calibrate Touchscreen.vi': Sub VI not supported in current target



Why is the RT Calibrate Touchscreen VI not supported on my cRIO?

Solution

First, you will need to check if your Real-Time device supports Embedded UI, and if this feature is enabled in system settings from MAX (see related links section).

If you still cannot deploy the VI to the cRIO perform the actions, below, in your project window:
  1. Right click the controller and choose Properties.
  2. In the General tab, select Allow development for this target with embedded UI enabled.
  3. Save the changes by clicking OK button.
