Before proceeding to apply these changes, please review if your controller supports the Restore After Power Loss. This information can be checked on the controller manual, to access it, please review the
NI Product Documentation Center.
1. Press the
Power button on the PXI chassis, then press
Del on the keyboard repeatedly to enter the BIOS.
2. Switch tabs to
Advance and select
Power/Wake Configuration as shown below.
3. Select Restore After Power Loss and select Turn On as shown below.
4. Select
PXIe Backplane WAKE# and select
Enabled as shown below.
- Press F10 on the keyboard and select Yes to save the configuration and restart the controller as shown below.
Additional Information
With this configuration, the PXI chassis and controller will automatically power on when power is supplied. This includes when power is lost and is restored.
