Cant See Custom Device in VeriStand System Definition File

Issue Details

I have a custom device that is placed in the C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\National Instruments\VeriStand XXXX\ Custom Devices folder, but when I right click on Custom Devices in the System Definition File it is not showing up.

Solution

Make sure that the custom device folder that was added has an associated  XML file inside it. VeriStand loads custom devices from XML files into memory upon loading, if there is no XML file in the custom device folder then VeriStand cannot see the custom device. After adding the XML file make sure to close out VeriStand entirely and re-load.

Additional Information

Here is an example of how the XCP and CCP should show up in the Custom Device folder in VeriStand
