Error -17500 Using Python and TestStand

Issue Details

I'm having the following error when I run an example using Python Steps on TestStand: 
Error Message: Error executing substep Post, Error creating host process [Error Code -17500]

Solution

If you want to use Python and TestStand, you would need to:
  • Install the 32 or 64 bit version of Python (2.7 or 3.6).
  • Install Python Step Types for TestStand
  • If you are using TestStand 32 bit version use Python 2.7.0 or 3.6.0, 32 bit version.
  • If  you are using TestStand 64 bit version use Python 2.7.0 or 3.6.0, 64 bit version.
If this doesn't resolve the issue please try resetting your NI hardware in NI MAX as seen below:
