Issue Details

Is it possible to disable Anti-Alias Filtering and all other digital filtering on PXI Analog Input Modules e.g. PXIe-4302? These modules are also sometimes referred to as SC Express modules.

Solution

Anti-aliasing filtering  cannot be disabled on these modules. However, in addition to the sharp anti-alias filters used in buffered mode (e.g. finite or continuous sampling), the modules also provide optional fourth order elliptical lowpass IIR filters that can be used in buffered mode. This filtering can be enabled/disabled using a DAQmx™ Channel Property Node.

Using the modules in Hardware-Timed Single Point Sample Mode (HWTSP) allows you to bypass the sharp anti-aliasing digital filters and requires the IIR elliptic filter to be used. However, you then cannot disable the IIR filter anymore.
