  • Can I read signals from multiple digital channels using one counter input task?
  • Can I read from all the channels on my Digital or Counter DAQ module using one DAQmx Counter task?

Solution

To read multiple counter input signals simultaneously, you need to have a separate Counter Input task for each channel.  

Additional Information

Each DAQ device has a limited number of counter tasks it can handle simultaneously. The number of counters each device has access to can be found in the device specification documentation.
