NI MAX Test Panel Readings Don't Match Virtual Channel Readings

Issue Details

I have set up a Global Virtual Channel for one of my devices in NI MAX and the readings I'm seeing in the virtual channel's chart are not consistent with the readings from the device's Test Panels under the Devices and Interfaces section. 

Solution

If you're expecting the readings from the Global Virtual Channel to match the Test Panel readings, try the following steps:
  • Check to ensure that the configured channel settings for the Global Virtual Channel match the settings in the Test Panel.
  • Make sure that the Global Virtual Channel and the Test Panel are reading from the same device on the same channel.
  • If you imported the Global Virtual Channel from a prior MAX configuration, try creating a new Global Virtual Channel from scratch.
