Issue Details

When I try to run my RT VI from the LabVIEW project, I get an error that says: The RIO server could not be found on the specified remote system. What could be causing this?

Solution

This issue can be resolved by one of these methods:

Make sure that your hardware and software firewalls are configured to work with NI products. You might need to work with your IT department to modify the firewall settings.
Check that all your device's necessary software is installed on the device. You can add/remove/check the software on your remote system in NI MAX.
Make sure that your Real-Time target is configured and connected to the LabVIEW project.
