Issue Details

I want to generate a PWM signal with my USB DAQ device but it has no dedicated PFI lines with counter outputs, can I still do it?

Solution

It is possible to generate a PWM signal in USB devices with DIO pins using a digital out task. The screenshot below shows an implementation of this using the USB-6008.

Additional Information

The screenshot above creates an array of True/False values that it writes to the digital line, 1 point at a time, every 1ms. This generates a PWM signal with a frequency of 10 Hz.
