## Issue Details

I am wanting to launch InstrumentStudio from LabWindows/CVI. How do I do this?

## Solution

LabWindows/CVI comes with an example that launches an executable called launchexe. This example can be found here: C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\CVIXXXX\samples\utility. When launching the InstrumentStudio.exe make sure to enter the full path("C:\Program Files\National Instruments\InstrumentStudio 2018\InstrumentStudio.exe"), or include the path to the executable in your PATH environment variable.

Note: If you using a path remember to put \\ for \, and if you path includes spaces to use \" for " (see example below if you have questions).

If you are wanting to launch a specific project then you will need to do one of two things:
1. Use the command "-openProject" to open your project. It will look something like this:
1. You can create a .bat file that opens your project, and all that as your executable.
