Can I Use Both HMI and Embedded UI On My CompactRIO?

Issue Details

Can I set up a host or HMI (Human Machine Interface) VI and run it along with an Embedded UI on my CompactRIO?

Solution

It is possible to have both the HMI and Embedded UI running on the RIO at the same time. 

The Embedded UI is part of the Real-Time application, and is run on the cRIO. In contrast, the HMI is run on a computer and it communicates with the Real-Time application on the cRIO . You would have to create two separate interfaces (Main VI on Host, Real-Time/Embedded VI on cRIO).
