Recommended Cable Shielding for NI 6255

Issue Details

I notice that NI recommends that Connector 0  on the NI 6255 use the SCH68-68-EPM but Connector 1 use the SHC68-68. Why would one connector require a different cable than another on the same device?

Solution

Since Connector 1 on the PCI-6255 or PXI-6255 does not have any digital lines there is no need for the additional cost and shielding of the SCH68-68-EPM. 

Additional Information

The difference between the SHC68-68-EPM and the SHC68-68 is that the SHC68-68-EPM has shielding between the digital and analog signals while the SHC68-68 does not have this shielding.
