Solution
NI only supports Internet Protocol (IP) cameras manufactured by Basler and Axis.
Common problems with installation and configuration of this devices are related to:
1. Software compatibility, be sure you have already installed Vision Acquisition Software (VAS) version 18 or earlier.
- Verify that you have the NI-IMAQdx driver installed and activated. You can purchase the software here.
- Verify that your operating system is supported by the driver by checking the Readme. Also verify the version of LabVIEW you're using is supported.
- Verify that you don't have conflicting 3rd party drivers.
NOTE: from NI-IMAQdx 19.0, Vision Acquisition Software no longer support for Internet Protocol (IP) cameras Basler and Axis
2. Damaged hardware, to discard these problems check the physical status of the device.
