Issue Details

I am using the PXI-PCI8336 with Windows XP and am planning to update my Windows version.
  • Which Windows version is compatible with the PXI-PCI8336?
  • Is the PXI-PCI8336 compatible with Windows 10? 

Solution

The PXI-PCI8336 requires the PXI Platform Service driver. To find out which version of Windows OS is compatible, check the PXI Platform Service driver for which Windows OS is supported.

The PXI-PCI8336 is a PXI-MXI-4 card product. We can check NI Hardware and Software Operating System Compatibility  and refer to the fifth section titled PXI Remote Controller or MXI Support. NI PXI-MXI-4 products are supported in PXI Platform Services 18.0, and are therefore compatible with Windows 10.
