Error -200072 in My NI-DAQmx Task

Issue Details

I am wiring a task I created in Measurement & Automation Explorer to the DAQmx Create Virtual Channel VI in LabVIEW and I get Error -200072:
 
 

Solution

In C series modules, DSA, or simultaneous sampling cards, only one instance of a physical channel may be present in a task. If you try to add a physical channel in LabVIEW that is a duplicate of a physical channel already present in the task you created in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), you will receive this error. Remove the virtual channel that is referencing the duplicate

You may also receive this error if you are attempting to read from cold-junction compensation sensors on a C series thermocouple module. See Read Data from the Built-In CJC Sensor on My DAQ Device in LabVIEW  for more information.
 

Additional Information

This error will not occur with multiplexed devices such as M series multifunction DAQ cards because the same physical channel can be present more than once in a scan list.
