NI License Manager: Computer Hardware Has Changed Since Previous Activation

Issue Details

I am using an Academic Volume License (AVL) or Volume License Agreement (VLA) to license several computers by deploying a ready image to those computers with NI software already installed and activated through pointing NI License Manager to our server.

This used to work in the past but now when I run any NI software on the client machines I get an error saying:
Computer hardware has changed since previous activation.

What do can I do?


This error is due to the licence manager recognizing that the computer hardware identifiers have changed. NI Licence files are tied to these Identifiers and needs to be replaced if the hardware changes. 

Please contact your license administrator and request that a new license file be sent to you.
