Issue Details

When I try to install LabVIEW, the installer gets stuck at 0% complete and doesn't progress. Sometimes I see a green blip in the progress bar but it never gets past 0%.

Solution

To get the installer to progress and get LabVIEW installed correctly, follow the steps below.
  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Install any Windows updates that may be pending. Additionally, try using the Windows Update Troubleshooter to ensure Windows Updates are working correctly.
  3. Attempt the installation again.
  4. If it is still not working, open Task Manager and look for processes called Windows Installer. If there are multiple instances of this process, end them.
  5. Attempt the installation again.

Additional Information

This solution also solves the issue when VI Analyzer toolkit is stuck at 0% during installation.
