Configuration Mode Error While Deploying Real-Time Application

Issue Details

I get the following warning when I try to run my real time application after deploying it to my target and pressing the Run button in LabVIEW:

One or more I/O Drivers on the target require Configuration Mode for this operation to proceed. If you choose to switch to Active mode, the NI Scan Engine will automatically transition to Active mode after the operation has completed successfully.

Note: The mode change does not apply to local I/O



I then lose connection to my target. How can I resolve this?

Solution

This is because the configuration information on the target has not been set. To set it, right-click on the target and select Deploy All.
