Issue Details

I'm trying to build a program in LabWindows/CVI, but want to exclude one of the DLL dependencies. This DLL will already exist on the deployment computers, and I want the program to use the most up-to-date version, rather than the version I built the program with. However, I want to include other DLL dependencies in the build spec.

Solution

From the Build >> Distributions >> Manage Distributions >> Files tab, remove the "DLL Dependencies" item. This is a combination of every DLL that your project depends on, and will not give you the option to manage dependencies individually.

Once this is removed, you can go to the Local Files & Directories section, expand the My Computer item, and navigate to the directories of any DLLs that you do want included in your build.
