Issue Details

I have a TestStand application that uses LabVIEW code modules. When I run the TestStand sequence, the LabVIEW launch screen pops up every time a code module is called. How can I disable this?

Solution

1. Make TestStand always run LabVIEW code modules in the run-time engine:

  1. In TestStand, select Configure » Adapters… to launch the Adapter Configuration window
  2. Select LabVIEW and click Configure… to open the LabVIEW Adapter Configuration window
  3. Ensure that the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine is selected, not the LabVIEW Development System
  4. Close and re-open TestStand to apply the changes

2. Change the properties of each action in your TestStand sequence to disable the popup:

  1. Select the action in your sequence, then select the Properties tab
  2. On the left menu, select Run Options
  3. Under TestStand Window Activation, select If initially active, re-activate when step completes
