Can I Use LVDS on CompactRIO?

Issue Details

I would like to use low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) with my CompactRIO application. Is there a C Series module for LVDS communication?

Solution

NI does not currently offer a C Series module that is LVDS compatible. Customers have used C Series digital modules such as the NI 9401 along with a TTL to LVDS converter to use LVDS with CompactRIO in the past.

Note: NI does not recommend specific TTL to LVDS converters. You should work with your LVDS device manufacturer to choose the right converter for your application.
