Issue Details

I'm working with the Digilent Basys3 Board in Multisim and the configuration files are missing I/O options information.
Why is this happening?

Solution

In the Attachments section, you will find the updated configurations files for the Basys3.
After the download, you have 2 solutions :
  • You can either copy both files to the pldconfig folder located in the Multisim installation directory (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suite 14.0)
  • Or, in step 1 of the New PLD Design wizard, select the Use custom configuration file option and browse to the attached .mspc file. Once ready to program your board, in step 2 of the PLD Export dialog, choose the attached .xdc file in the Xilinx user constraint files section.

Additional Information

The shipping configurations files for the Basys3 are missing some I/O pin definitions: the VGA, USB, PS2, and flash memory ports.
The Digilent Basys3 .xdc file  and  .mspc configuration files are located in the pldconfig folder in Multisim installation directory.
