Issue Details

I only need to do a single axis move for my motor/drive (NI 9512, 9514, 9516 C Series drive interface modules,
NI Ethernet-connected Stepper Motor Drives (AC or DC), Integrated Stepper Motors, or
AKD EtherCAT Servo Drives and Third-party EtherCAT drives through SoftMotion Drive Interface) and I do not need the full NI LabVIEW Softmotion Module.  Where do I find and install the SoftMotion Lite Module?

Solution

LabVIEW SoftMotion Lite is the same install as LabVIEW SoftMotion Module.  The only difference between the two is that SoftMotion automatically becomes SoftMotion Lite after the evaluation period is over and the module is not activated.  There is not specific install or configurations to get SoftMotion Lite.

Additional Information

You will want to refer to LabVIEW SoftMotion Selection Guide to determine if you can use LabVIEW SoftMotion Lite or if you will need the licensed version of SoftMotion.
