Issue Details

How can I measure voltage and current, or any combination of two different digital multimeter (DMM) measurements, at the same time?

Solution

Due to certain parts of the circuitry for each task being shared, DMMs can not perform two different measurement tasks simultaneously. 

Additional Information

To accomplish multiple measurement types together, the switching of tasks can be automated in software. Additionally, a DMM and a switch can be combined to allow a DMM to measure many devices simultaneously.

 

Keep in mind that for DMMs the banana plug for voltage is different than the banana plug for current.
