Issue Details

I want to build a control system using Arduino board and LabVIEW. Is it possible to control the Arduino platform with LabVIEW?

Solution

The third-party LabVIEW Add-On LINX by Digilent/LabVIEW Marker Hub is designed to be a generic hardware abstraction layer for embedded platform devices like Arduino, chipKIT, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, etc. See the article titled Downloading Digilent LINX For LabVIEW? for more information.

Additional Information

Previously, we were using LabVIEW Interface with Arduino (LIFA) Toolkit. Nowadays the LIFA has been replaced with LINX so it is highly recommended to migrate to LINX as there will be no further development for LIFA.
