Slot Blockers for Controller Slot with MXI

Issue Details

I want to cover unused slots in my PXI or PXIe chassis. How can I cover the gap to the left of my MXI Remote Control module that resides in slot one?

Solution

To cover the area to the left of the MXI remote control module that is normally occupied if you were to use an embedded controller, you can use filler panels , which can be purchased as accessories for your PXI(e) chassis. You will need three filler panels to completely occupy the gap. 

 

Additional Information

These are not required components, but they do have the benefit of additional protection and shielding from dust or harm. Should these also be considered for any unused peripheral slots, you can use slot blockers in addition to the filler panels.
