Root-Raised Cosine Filtering in LabVIEW

Issue Details

I am generating IQ waveforms on my RF device and would like to manually apply a root raised cosine filter to my data. Is there a built-in way to do this in LabVIEW?

Solution

If you have NI Modulation Toolkit installed, you can find a VI that performs the square root raised cosine functionality at C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 20xx\vi.lib\addons\Modulation\Digital\General\subVIs (or C:\Program Files...) called mod_Filter Taps - Square Root Raised Cosine.

Additional Information

This VI can be customized by several input parameters, including Samples per Symbol, Filter Length, and Alpha. The Filter Coefficient output would typically feed into a FIR filter.
