Locking An Individual Front Panel Object in LabVIEW

I know I can lock my entire front panel by navigating to File»VI Properties»Protection, however I would like to lock an individual front panel object rather than the entire VI.  Is there a way I can accomplish this?

A control or indicator can be locked by following the steps below.  
  1. Select the front panel objects you would like to lock.
  2. On the LabVIEW toolbar, click the Reorder button
  3. Select Lock to lock the object or objects.

Users will be able to modify the value of a locked control , but cannot delete, move, or modify any properties of the control.
