Issue Details

I keep getting the following error from XNET Create Session VI.

Error -1074384887

Possible reason(s):

NI-XNET:  (Hex 0xBFF63009) The board's firmware did not answer a command. Solution: Stop your application and execute a self test. Try deactivating/reactivating the driver in the Device Manager. If the problem persists, contact National Instruments.

The error is inconsistent. It happens many times when I begin to run the LabVIEW program. But then if I run both ports, data from port 2 doesn't seem to be streamed stably.

Solution

  1. Try other USB port in your computer. If you're using a desktop, consider plugging the card in one of the backplane ports. Don't use USB hubs.
  2. Check you don’t have any software blocking the USB communication. For example, USB Port Locker/Blocker Software that prevents data transfer over the ports.
