Software Requirements for FPGA Compile Cloud Service

Issue Details

I am considering using the FPGA Compile Cloud Service or Compile Farm Toolkit for my FPGA compilations. Do any features require the Xilinx Compilation Tools to be installed on my local PC?

Solution

Note: The LabVIEW FPGA Cloud Compile Service will be discontinued on October 30, 2026. Please migrate to the LabVIEW FPGA Compile Farm Toolkit for intense compilation needs or use local compilation

 

If you use the FPGA Compile Cloud Service or Compile Farm Toolkit, you won't need to install a local compilation server like Xilinx Compilation Tools on your PC. As explained in LabVIEW FPGA Module Compatibility with Windows 10, you will only need these tools if you choose to locally compile your LabVIEW FPGA Code.
 

Additional Information

Use the local compile server if your system is not connected to the network.
