How Can I See If a Software Is Included in My Network License?

Issue Details

The company I work for uses a license server to manage software licenses. I am connected to the server over the network and I would like to know what software I can activate. Is there an easy way to verify this?

Solution

Once you have setup your computer to connect to the license server as explained inĀ Access Volume License Server from a Client Machine, if you are using NI License Manager 4.0 or later, you can see the list of activatable software in the Network Licenses tab.

Additional Information

  • Depending on how the License Server is setup, you may not see all or any activatable software. Contact the License Server administrator to get help enabling network licenses activation.
  • If you are using a previous version of the NI License Manager and you cannot see the list of activatable software, contact National Instruments Support for help.
