I Can See My Device in NI-MAX but I Cannot Configure It or Test It

Issue Details

I can see my NI device on Devices and Interfaces in NI-MAX, but I cannot configure it and there is no option to open Test Panels. When I right-click it, there is no response. What can be happening?


If for some reason in the past you stopped some or all NI Windows Services in your computer, this can be causing the problem. Go to the Services desktop app in your computer and restart any inactive National Instruments services. Go to MAX and check that the device is now working fine.
