Issue Details

I have a routine digital I/O test that I perform on my DAQ device using a test panel in MAX that requires me to select the desired port, direction and state information.

However, when I want to perform the same test one the same device at a later date, the test panel in MAX for that device does not preserve any of this information. Is it possible to preserve the digital I/O state and direction in a test panel so that I don't have to input the same information each time I use the test panel for that device?

Solution

The test panels in MAX are only used for one-time tests and the information cannot be preserved across multiple launches of the test panel.

In some cases, setting the default power-up state of a digital line can serve as a good alternative. Please visit Setting Default State of Digial Line with Pull-Down Resistors on a DAQ Device for more information.
