Missing Import LabWindows™/CVI™ Instrument Driver Option in LabVIEW

Issue Details

• I have an instrument driver that is currently in a LabWindows/CVI .fp file and I want to convert it to a VI to use this instrument driver in LabVIEW. I followed the steps listed on this tutorial. when I reached the section "Convert a Function Panel (.fp) file for Use within LabVIEW", I don't see the option "Import CVI Instrument Driver" at Tools>>Instrumentation in LabVIEW. 
• I have installed LabVIEW 2024 and would like to use third party instrument driver which is not available in IDNet.
  For that, I have installed LabVIEW Instrument Driver Import Wizard 2023 version. Unfortunately, when I try to import the instrument driver, I could not find "Import LabWindows/CVI Instrument Driver" option in LabVIEW > Tool > Instruments tab as shown below:

Solution

The cause of this issue is due to either there is no LabVIEW Instrument Driver Import Wizard installed in the PC or incompatibility between LabVIEW and LabVIEW Instrument Driver Import Wizard.
To have "Import LabWindows/CVI Instrument Driver" option, please make sure to install compatible LabVIEW Instrument Driver Import Wizard with LabVIEW version such as use same version for both LabVIEW and LabVIEW Instrument Driver Import Wizard.
