Issue Details

I have created a simple FPGA program and want to run it. I hit the run button and it compiles just fine and then I get a dialog box saying "Preparing for Interactive Execution" and it just gets stuck there waiting. MAX also sometimes sticks on the splash screen. How do I fix this?

Solution

This could be something wrong with the MAX configuration data.
Please follow the following steps:
  1. Restart the Computer
  2. Open MAX
  3. Reset the MAX database
  4. Restart the Computer again
