Issue Details

The LabVIEW Database Connectivity Toolkit is missing from the Functions Palette on the 64-bit version of LabVIEW.

I am trying to open and run a project in LabVIEW (using 64-bit software) and I get an error saying the following:

Warnings: Missing NI Module, Toolkit, or Driver: NI LabVIEW Database connectivity for the following VIs

Solution

LabVIEW Database Connectivity Toolkit is only compatible with the 32-bit version of LabVIEW Base, Full, or Professional Development System for versions before LabVIEW 2019. If you are using a 64 bit version, you can download the 32-bit version from the NI LabVIEW Downloads page. Note: The NI LabVIEW Database Connectivity Toolkit was released for 64-bit with LabVIEW 2019.

If you have a compatible version of LabVIEW and are still seeing this error, follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure your toolkit is properly activated. Follow the Activating NI Software help article to activate the toolkit in NI License Manager.
  2. If activating the toolkit does not resolve the issue, try to force reinstall the toolkit. Follow the Force Reinstall Non-Working or Corrupt NI Software article to force reinstall the Database Connectivity Toolkit.
