Issue Details

When I click record and it starts a log, where does that go, and does it log automatically? Do I have to stop and save it?

Solution

There are a number of ways in which you can configure your logging in SignalExpress, including automatic logging while running and recording. Methods for logging a signal are outlined in further detail in the SignalExpress Help Documentation: Data Logging. As per this same documentation for data logging, you are able to define the directory to which the file saves.

You do not have to stop and save it, but as a preventive measure for very long tests, you may wnt to consider this option.

Additional Information

SignalExpress also provides the capability to restart logging on an error or following other events. Steps on how this can be done are found in Logging Page (Options Dialog Box) Help documentation.
